About our quality candles
Bolsius has been producing quality candles in many production locations in Europe since 1870. Our marketing, research and development experts anticipate questions from the market and translate current trends into attractive new products. The Bolsius quality seal that you can find on our packaging symbolizes this quality. In addition to the RAL quality stamp, you can also find the Green Dot logo on the packaging. The RAL quality mark refers to an official European quality standard that offers guarantees in the field of standardization of dimensions, weight, use of safe and pure raw materials as well as safe combustion behavior. The Green Dot logo is an environmental registration logo. This means that, as producers, we contribute to the cost of the recycling system as well as the separation of waste.
User instructions
Bolsius considers security to be of paramount importance. Not using candles correctly can be dangerous. We provide user instructions via pictograms on our packaging in accordance with European law EN 15494 “Candles – Product safety labels” and EN 16740 “Emission safety of flammable air fresheners – User safety information”. With these instructions the consumer can enjoy the candles safely and in the best possible way. You can find the meaning of the pictograms below.
